Welcoming Lin Hinnigan as Chair of Trustees at Ormiston Trust 

We are delighted to welcome Lin Hinnigan as Ormiston Trust’s new Chair of Trustees from 1 July 2026. 

Lin brings extensive experience in Board leadership, governance, organisational change and partnership working across the charity, education, health and public sectors. She has held a number of senior executive and non-executive roles, including Chair of Make-A-Wish UK, Working Chance and Home-Start UK, as well as senior leadership roles across public bodies focused on education, youth justice, regulation and social impact. 

Lin’s experience as a values-driven Chair, with a strong focus on culture, inclusion, effective governance and organisational resilience, will be particularly valuable as OT continues to deliver its 2025–30 strategy and strengthen its role across the wider Ormiston network. 

As she takes up the role, Lin will be working closely with trustees, James, the OT team and colleagues across the Ormiston family to build relationships, understand current priorities and support the next stage of OT’s development.
