He has held senior positions at major financial institutions including BlackRock, Deutsche Bank, and Credit Suisse, and is now working in the digital finance space, giving him a strong technical grounding in regulated environments, reporting discipline, risk oversight, governance controls and financial-market operations.

At Ormiston Trust, Duncan sits across the Governance, Finance and Grants & Impact Committees, giving him a connected view of assurance, stewardship,   and charitable impact. He helps ensure decisions are scrutinised proportionately, that trustees have clear information, and that grant-making, finance and governance are considered together rather than in silos.
