Di brings broad experience across public service, international welfare, events, communications, fundraising and education. Her career began in the Foreign Office before she moved to Hong Kong, where she established a Welfare Office supporting 8,000 Vietnamese Boat People in a refugee camp and managed international conferences for a US company.

She later worked in London and New York for a PR agency on high-profile accounts and led internal and sponsored events for British American Tobacco’s public affairs department. Di has also served on fundraising committees for The Children’s Society and the NSPCC, worked for five years as a Citizens Advice Bureau adviser, and taught in higher education, including with students with learning disabilities

At Ormiston Trust, she brings practical insight into family support, community need, communications, charitable fundraising, inclusion and the lived realities behind grant-making decisions.
