Both Ormiston New Academy and Ormiston Endeavour Academy recently received high praise from Ofsted.
For Ormiston New Academy the school received its best ever Ofsted grade in April, rated as good in every area from the quality of education to student behaviour.
The school was taken over by OAT as an academy in 2017 and the principal since 2019, Craig Cooling, has taken various steps to improve previous Ofsted ratings and is proud of the Ofsted report and changes made to the academy.
Ormiston Endeavour Academy retained its good status and was praised by Ofsted for its “harmonious environment and ambitious curriculum”. The inspection focused on the enjoyment students have coming to school and the good quality curriculum provided by the academy. It also noted various areas the academy is working extremely well to ensure students receive the best education possible that school leadership plans to continue in the future
