#iWill week is coming to a close, but there have been some amazing eco-projects showcased from around the UK. Here’s our roundup of our favourites:
Nottingham High School – Sustainable Palm Oil Campaign
Year 9 and 10students began a sustainable palm oil campaign in Nottingham, using their school’s supply chain and social media. The school committed to becoming a 100% sustainable palm oil organisation, and the students’ then began to reach into their broader community to encourage others to do the same.

#ScotHotSeat Youth Climate Hustings
Young people in Scotland raised the issue of climate change with senior Scottish politicians in a hot-seat debate and discussion. The event was organised by
YouthLink Scotland, with speakers from the Scottish Youth Parliament and Fridays for Future among others. Nicola Sturgeon, First Minister, was in attendance.

Tomorrow 26th November: Asthma and our Environment
A number of events, including a masterclass, social media campaign, and primary school activities, were held during COP26 to bring attention to the connected issues of environmental degradation and poor health. Focusing on pollution and asthma, this event will showcase the multi-layered approach used by these student activist.
