The project is currently embedding mental health within the curriculum through staff training on building a resilient classroom. This is also being achieved through explicitly teaching students how to independently manage their own mental health and supporting both staff and students with additional mental health needs. The project also promotes mental health coping strategies with parent, carers and the wider community.

The Academy also shares its own framework with fellow Ormiston academies and is a centre of excellence offering paid CPD for local schools, academies and colleges.
