Ormiston Meridian Academy have recognised the need for students to learn coding which is quickly becoming a basic literacy in the digital age. Encouraging children to learn coding at a young age prepares them for the future and increases their employability skills. Coding helps children with communication, creativity, math, writing, and builds confidence. This project aims to develop coding skills for Academy students, local feeder schools, and other Academies in the area and local community members. This has also included the creation of a learning hub which has evolved into a community facility.
